Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply
The qualification is designed for those in an operational role who need the capability to carry out procurement and supply tasks. You will develop the knowledge to understand demand management, arrange supply logistics and implement new contracts.
Unit Overview
On completion of each individual unit, you will be able to:
L3M1: Procurement and Supply Environments
Understand the different business environments in relation to procurement and supply. In addition, gain knowledge on the private, public and not for profit sector. Understand the procedures that regulate procurement and supply
L3M2: Ethical Procurement and Supply
Understand the importance of ethical and responsible sourcing and the impact it had on the organisation and their reputation. The module will also look at how ethical codes are best applied.
L3M3: Contract Administration
Understand the nature of contracts and the role they play in the administration and performance monitoring of suppliers. The module will include key tasks in commercial contracts including negotiation and tendering.
L3M4: Team Dynamics and Change
Staff roles and how they impact on the success of a procurement and supply team. The importance of an effective team and the impact of change and how it can successfully be achieved.

L3M5: Socially Responsible Procurement (ELECTIVE MODULE)
The key concepts of sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility and how procurement and supply can positively impact them. This will be in the context of the global climate crisis and the increasing pressure of organisations to play their part.
L4M6: Socially responsible Warehousing and Distribution (ELECTIVE MODULE)
Decision making about warehousing and distribution of goods is of vital importance to organisations. The transport, storage and handling of goods from raw materials to finished goods plays a key part in an organisation’s success. This module will focus on key aspects and tasks in this area
